Research and Analysis

Drawing on our setting within one of the world's leading research universities, we help to generate, amplify, and support cutting edge research that identifies and assesses decarceral interventions.

Research Fellowship Program

Our research fellowships provide a home within Harvard University’s rich intellectual community for thoughtful and committed researchers seeking to analyze the causes and consequences of mass incarceration and to assess interventions to bring about its end.

We welcome proposals for potential research projects. You can read more about our current research fellows below.
