Edward Chung

Edward Chung is an abolitionist, law student, and former student attorney with the Institute to End Mass Incarceration. Edward received his B.A. in Philosophy & Human Rights from the University of Chicago and is currently a third year at Harvard Law School. At Harvard Law School he serves as President of the Bell Collective for Critical Race Theory, is a Harvard defender, has served as President of the Caribbean Law Students Association, the 2L Rep for the Black Law Student Association, and is a trained mediator through the Harvard mediation program. Edward’s law school career also includes working as a research assistant and teaching fellow for a prison abolition course in Harvard’s History & Literature department, and working as a teaching fellow at the law school. He has helped run the Harvard symposium focused on a prisoner uprising at Walpole and has interned at the ACLU’s racial justice program and the housing law practice at Catholic Migration Services in New York.
