On April 7, 2023, IEMI and Executive Faculty Director Andrew Crespo hosted a screening of Calls from Home, a documentary film about Appalachia, prisons, the devastating impact of incarceration at extreme distances, and the community work near and far undertaken to bring people together, across mountains and through prison walls.
