Martha Minow

Martha Minow has taught at Harvard Law School since 1981 and previously served as the law school’s dean. Her courses include constitutional law; fairness and privacy; forgiveness and law; international criminal justice; jurisprudence; law, justice, and design; and law and social change. Her books include When Should Law Forgive?, In Brown’s Wake: Legacies of America’s Constitutional Landmark, and Between Vengeance and Forgiveness: Facing History After Genocide and Mass Violence. Minow has served on national and international commissions, including the Center for Strategic and International Studies Commission on Countering Violent Extremism and on the Independent International Commission Kosovo.
